I can't access some parts of the website. - Much of the website is viewable by anyone. However, some pages can only be seen by people who are registered and signed in.
Registration is free and is done by following the appropriate links. However, it should be noted that users who abuse the site, or are using it for purposes deemed inappropriate, face a permanent ban.
Why register? - Well there are many reasons that registration is important. Here are some:
- It helps leaders at CE know who is going, which it turn means you can get involved more easily
- It allows you to go on trips with CE (which are just great)
- Various parts of the site are meant for CE members only. Registration means that only CE members can access the site. However we do allow former members and friends of CE to register also.
How do we get back to chatting on the forums? - It's very simple. You include your username in your registration form; we match it with the one you use on the forums and activate your account. This also allows you to access the whole site. The only thing is that CE leaders have to activate your account by hand, so don't be surprised if you can't get into the site automatically if you register at 2am. It will be activated fairly quickly though.
Can I update my profile at any time? - Yep. Another advantage of this online registration thing. You can access your profile by following the instructions on the page and change anything that needs changed.
How do I register? - Easy peezy lemon squeezy. Click Register on the right hand box on the homepage or on the footer of any page and away you go. (Alternatively click the link below). It takes 2 minutes max. Easier than GCSE's anyway (and that's saying something)...
